About Me and This book
I am originally from Kanagawa prefecture (located south-west of Tokyo), Japan.
I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art Studies from Meiji Gakuin University in Tokyo. After graduating university I moved to Canada and Germany, where I worked as a freelance artist.
This Japanese Vocabulary Book is complied of the ideas that I would have ideally liked to have found in a book when I was child.
My intention with the book is to introduce Japanese culture to people all around the world. My work includes some of the experiences I accumulates while living abroad and took me almost 3 years in total to complete.
The points of the book which I paid particular attention to are: the bright and vivid colours, the highly detailed, intricate pictures and the heart-warming, hand-drawn illustrations.
I will be delighted if children and adults of all ages enjoy reading it.
